This state-of-the-art inspection system is designed to perform highly accurate dimensional measurements, currently being used to measure projectiles, with future plans to extend its capabilities to cases and cartridges.
The Gi-360T inspection system leverages cutting-edge laser gauging technology to identify specific defects, ensuring the highest standards of precision and quality. The system measures outer diameter dimensions including ogive, circularity, and concentricity using a four-profile and 8 detector laser head array that generates cross-sections at 45-degree intervals. Additionally, it includes an 8-laser velocity gauge for extremely accurate length measurements for overall length, cannelure positions, and theoretical intersections.
The system is equipped with a centrifugal feeder system, which includes a stand with electrical controls, built-in vision blow-off orientation, and part metering. Its elevator hopper is designed with a compact footprint and provides gentle part handling.

This fully integrated conveyor system offers weight verification, featuring a speed reduction chute and an air “blow off” for dedicated accept/reject functions, further enhancing the quality assurance process.
